Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

Edema and hyperintensity is seen in anterior suprapatellar fat pad with posterior convexity and associated subtle erosions, marrow edema in adjacent superior pole of patella.

Case Discussion

Findings are consistent with anterior suprapatellar fat pad syndrome. Edema in anterior suprapatellar fat pad is often seen in asymptomatic patients. However, erosions in patella confirm the diagnosis in this case.
