Left trigeminal neuralgia provoked by coughing and sneezing

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

Abnormal protrusion of anteromedial left temporal lobe parenchyma through a bony defect in greater wing of sphenoid (proven on CT), consistent with an encephalocele. Coronal images show proximity to left foramen rotundum, explaining the clinical presentation.
