Fall during 'in-door' ice-skating. Ankle twist.

There is a bone flake on the lateral aspect of the distal end of the tibia. It overlies the fibula in the image.

Case Discussion

A bone flake seen in radiograph proved to be an avulsion fracture of anterior tibio-fibular ligament when CT - MR studies were performed.
