No suspicious pulmonary lesions seen in the lungs. No pleural effusion.
Evidence of left mastectomy with no suspicious lesions seen in the operative bed. No obvious lesions seen in the right breast for mammogram correlation.
The left vertebral artery arises as the third branch of the aortic arch.
Case Discussion
The left vertebral artery usually arises from the left subclavian artery. In approximately 5% of the population, the left vertebral artery can have a variable origin from the aortic arch 1-3.
