Apical segment left lower lobe pneumonia

Presentation

Cough. Fever.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Confluent consolidation is demonstrated in the apical segment of the left lower lobe consistent with pneumonia. No pleural collection. No pneumothorax. A followup chest x-ray following clinical resolution is recommended to insure no underlying mass is present.
