Appendiceal mucocoele due to ileocecal tumor

Presentation

Work up for abdominopelvic pain and recent weight loss.

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male

A well-circumscribed, low-attenuation, tubular fluid density lesion contiguous with the base of the cecum favoring appendiceal mucocele. Note the ileocecal wall thickening suggesting tumoral infiltration that causes ileal loops distention.
