Thick walled blind ending tubular structure with its tip close to the hepatorenal space.
No appendicolith.
Case Discussion
The site of an appendix may be variable, but the appearances when inflammed (appendicitis) are consistent:
- thick walled
- blind ending tube ( dont confuse with the terminal ileum )
- often an appendicolith
