Referred for ultrasound evaluation of abdominal pain.

Appendicolith

The appendix is distended with fluid. There is an echogenic focus with acoustic shadowing in the appendicular neck which is an appendicolith. There are few other appendicoliths in the distal dilated appendix. There is no perforation of the appendix.
