There is a RIF irregular complex cystic inflammatory lesion with thick enhancing walls. Reactive thickening of the terminal ileum and cecal pole are appreciated with edematous narrowing of the ileocecal junction and subsequent delayed transit of oral contrast into the large bowel.
Case Discussion
Findings perfectly represent a case of complicated appendicitis, which wasn't completely removed due to extensive adhesion to the cecum and further complicated by RIF abscess formation.
