Post laparoscopic appendectomy 12 days ago. Complaining of right iliac fossa pain for 3 hours.

Appendiceal stump is seen at the base of the cecum. Stump is normal in diameter. There are sutures (echogenic dots in cross section) at the base of the stump. The cecum is normal. There is no local collection.
Case Discussion
Patient with recent laparoscopic appendectomy presents with abdominal pain for a few hours. Ultrasound shows a normal appendicular stump.
