Dilated fluid filled appendix in the right lower quadrant. The wall is thin and contains a focus of hyperechogenicity with twinkle artifact. Surrounding fat is normal. No peri-appendiceal fluid or collection.

Case Discussion
Dilated fluid filled appendix with a mural calcification and the history of gelatinous ascites highly suggestive of an appendix mucocele.
