A CSF intensity extra-axial lesion exerting mass effect is located on the right, extending from the anterior-most aspect of the middle cranial fossa up into the Sylvian fissure. It follows CSF on all sequences. The overlying bone is remodeled and thinned. No solid component. No enhancement. The remainder of the brain is unremarkable with no intra or extra-axial abnormality.
Conclusion:
Features are characteristic of an arachnoid cyst.
