A well-defined cystic space-occupying lesion is seen in the left inferior part of the temporal region against the greater wing of the sphenoid bone, measures 33 x 30 mm. It follows CSF density with a smooth surface, no perifocal brain edema and exerts no mass effect, the findings in favor of an arachnoid cyst.
Case Discussion
This case illustrates typical appearances and location of an arachnoid cyst, as it is commonly seen in middle cranial fossa within the inferior part of temporal bone against the greater wing of the sphenoid.
