Extra-axial fluid-density collection in the left middle cranial fossa measuring 3 x 4 x 5 cm with a mass effect on the left temporal lobe, an imperceptible wall and thinning of the overlying bone.
No evidence of acute ischemia
No evidence of hemorrhage
No hydrocephalus.
Case Discussion
Brain CT scan findings are characteristic of a left middle cranial fossa arachnoid cyst, type II according to Galassi classification of middle cranial fossa arachnoid cysts.
