Tracheostomy in situ. Bronchial wall thickening bilaterally with perihilar changes (right > left) consistent with infection +/- aspiration.
Case Discussion
Armoured tracheostomy tubes, cf. armoured endotracheal tubes, are occasionally employed in patients with difficult airways.
