Arrow piercing the sternal manubrium with tip extending into the left chest cavity. Small amount of mediastinal blood. Laceration of the left upper lobe related to arrow injury with moderate hemopneumothorax. No major vascular injury.

Uncommon case of arrow injury through the sternal manubrium in an area with endemic tribal fighting, resulting in laceration of the left upper lobe and moderate hemopneumothorax.
