Large nidus measuring about 30*45 mm with prominent flow voids in right temporal lobe medial part
No mass effect and hemorrhage
The high signal area around the nidus probably represents gliosis
Arterial supply derived from right posterior communicating, posterior and middle cerebral arteries
Venous drainage to Galen's vein.
Case Discussion
This AVM is Spetzler-Martin grade 3 (2 for medium size nidus, 1 for deep venous drainage, and 0 for nidus situated in the non-eloquent brain).
Management options for AVMs include surgical resection, endovascular occlusion, stereotactic radiation, or a combination.
