Pre-operative assessment.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Female

There is an extensive vascular nidus within the soft tissues of the posteromedial left thigh. Arterial supply arises from the small branches of the femoral artery and profunda femoris.    Venous drainage to the great saphenous and to a lesser extent, femoral vein with consequent engorgement and early enhancement of the left external and common iliac veins.  Scattered vascular calcifications are best appreciated on the scout view.
