Presentation

Vomiting. Known sigmoid carcinoma.

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

pathology

Pathological examination confirmed an Ascaris lumbricoides that was 25 cm long.

Case Discussion

Incidental finding compatible with a worm in a female patient with a sigmoid colon adenocarcinoma. There was a spontaneous emission of the worm while vomiting.
