The hysterosalpingography demonstrated classical findings of intrauterine adhesions (Asherman syndrome), the irregular filling defects in the uterine cavity.
In addition, bilateral dilated fallopian tubes and the absence of extravasation of contrast into the peritoneal cavity indicative of distal fallopian tubes occlusion.
Case Discussion
Multiple images from a hysterosalpingogram demonstrating multiple irregular intrauterine filling defects due to adhesions ( termed synechiae ) without free spillage of contrast bilaterally. Imaging appearance is characteristic of Asherman syndrome and bilateral tubal block.
