Asherman syndrome and bilateral tubal block

Presentation

Secondary infertility for 12 years.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

The hysterosalpingogram showed a reduced size of the uterine cavity associated with the haziness of its outlines and irregular filling defects, leading to the incapability of contrast injection of more than 10 cc because of a fibrotic endometrium.

There is no peritoneal spill.

The right fallopian tube has not been visualized.

In addition, the left hydrosalpinx was identified and characterized by mild dilation of the ampullary part of the fallopian tube.
