Presentation

Recent diagnosis of ASD at echocardiography. For chest x-ray.

Patient Data

Gender: Male
x-ray

Lungs are clear.

The heart is slightly larger than normal, but there are no specific findings of cardiac abnormalities. 

Prominence of the central pulmonary vasculature. Given the history of ASD, pulmonary hypertension is a possibility.

Case Discussion

A young patient with a proven ASD and resultant cardiomegaly and pulmonary hypertension with prominence of the pulmonary vasculature.
