Presentation

Loss of balance and seizures.

Patient Data

Age: 1 year
Gender: Female

A large solid-cystic mass with peripheral cystic components and central low density in the left lobe, with mass effect upon third and left lateral ventricles. Midline shift of 16 mm.

The lesion is slightly hyperdense peripherally to gray matter.

Foci of calcification at the central part of the mass.

There is surrounding vasogenic edema as well. 

The patient underwent surgical resection and pathologic examination revealed the final diagnosis.
