Abdominal swelling

Patient Data

Age: Adult
Gender: Male

Multiple peripherally calcified lesions are scattered throughout the abdomen, particularly in the flanks. Double J stent in situ, position uncertain but probably biliary as there appears to be gas in the biliary tree. 

Case Discussion

Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease can have striking imaging findings. In this case it is the multiple calcified cysts showing up on plain films.
