New increased sclerosis in the left hip in a patient with osteoporosis treated with bisphosphonates. There is a radiolucent crescent demonstrated at the femoral head which parallels the articular surface indicating subchondral collapse.
Incidental note is made of increased sclerosis in the right femoral hip surrounding a wide caliber linear lucency, consistent with removal of a dynamic hip screw.
