Bilateral abnormal marrow signal intensities in the femoral heads are characteristic of avascular necrosis (AVN); a hypointense line adjacent to a hyperintense line with surrounding marrow edematous changes.
Mild effusion is present in the right hip joint.
Case Discussion
Imaging findings show osteonecrosis/avascular necrosis of both femoral heads.
