Abnormal hip joints bilaterally. The left side shows almost complete loss of the femoral head with abnormal alignment within the acetabulum. The right shows severe femoral head collapse and flattening, with extensive sclerosis and reduced joint space. Features of advanced osteonecrosis (avascular necrosis) and severe secondary degenerative joint disease.

Radiograph of the pelvis demonstrates bilateral hip joints advanced avascular necrosis with secondary degenerative joint disease.
