Presentation

Decreased range of motion with pain during movement in left hip joint.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Degenerative changes at left hip joint with joint space narrowing, subchondral sclerosis, and irregularity with relatively femoral head flattening.

Case Discussion

Features are consistent with longstanding avascular necrosis of left femoral epiphysis.
