The cortical bone of the right greater tuberosity is avulsed at the attachment of the supraspinatus tendon with underlying altered bone marrow edematous changes.
The supraspinatus tendon shows a small partial thickness tear at its articular surface.
Subacromion subdeltoid bursitis.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates an avulsion fracture through the greater tuberosity and partial tear of the supraspinatus tendon in consequence of trauma.
