Presentation

Right shoulder trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male
  • mild glenohumeral joint effusion

  • avulsed cortical bone of the right greater tuberosity at the attachment of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus tendons with underlying altered bone marrow signal being of low T1 and high PD fs signals

  • the supraspinatus tendon and infraspinatus tendon superior fibers show abnormal intrasubstance increased signal related to tendinosis

  • abnormal intrasubstance increased fluid signal along with inferior glenohumeral ligamnt related to IGHL tear

  • subacromion subdeltoid bursal effusion

  • type II acromion
