There is a mildly displaced fracture through the base of the fifth metatarsal bone in keeping with an avulsion fracture. No evidence of other fractures. Screws within the navicular and medial cuneiform bones. Shortening of the hallux proximal phalanx.

Avulsion fracture of the 5th metatarsal styloid is one of the more common foot avulsion injuries and accounts for over 90% of fractures of the base of the 5th metatarsal.
