Fall from a horse on to right shoulder. Pain and limited range of movement. X-rays were normal.

Avulsion fracture of the greater humeral tuberosity. Adjacent high signal on the coronal STIR in keeping with bone edema. There also seems to be some fraying of the superior labrum (SLAP I).
