Axillary nerve palsy (MRI)

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Weakness on outward rotation and elevation of the right arm. No history of shoulder surgery or trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male
mri

Fatty atrophy of the teres minor and the dorsal parts of the deltoid muscle. There was some synovial thickening in the axillary recess of the shoulder joint. Another lesion in the quadrangular space could not be found.
