Azygos fissure across right upper lung.
Tiny patches of dense opacity in lower zone of left lung field.
Rest of the lung fields appear streaky.
Case Discussion
Azygos fissure is one of the accessory fissures of lung, and demarcates the azygos lobe from the rest of the apical segment of the upper lobe of right lung. It is formed when the medial migration of the right posterior cardinal vein (a precursor of the azygos vein) is arrested within the apical segment of the right upper lung.
This patient presented with suspected COVID-19, but lung findings are indeterminate.
