MRA demonstrates an azygos anterior cerebral artery, with no associated aneurysms. On the right, a small persistent trigeminal artery contributes to the vertebra basilar system which is generally diminutive in size. The right posterior cerebral artery is foetal in origin. Otherwise intracranial circulation is unremarkable.
Case Discussion
Careful search for malformation is important when vascular anomalies are found.
