CXR showing azygous fissure (incidental finding).

Case Discussion

An azygos lobe is is a normal anatomic variant of the right upper lobe and is formed by laterally displaced azygos vein which makes a deep pleural fissure into the right upper lobe's apical segment during embryogenesis. It is seen in up to 1% of cases.
