The ultrasound of the mass shows a mixed echogenicity mass lesion with smoothly lobulated margins.
Case Discussion
The lesion at biopsy was almost not palpable with the biopsy needle. With IDC this size and smaller, there is often a sensation of "hardness" when prodding and nearing the lesion to biopsy. This lesion was soft. B-cell lymphoma of the breast was demonstrated.
