Bankart and Hill-Sachs lesions

Presentation

H/O shoulder dislocation - 1 day before. Reduction done. Referred for a plain radiograph and ultrasound.

Patient Data

Age: about 45 yrs
Gender: Male
X-ray

Ultrasound

Radiograph - True AP -  ( Acutal and magnified images ) - Loss of density is noted at inferior aspect of glenoid rim with adjacent bone flake - Bankart lesion.

Radiograph - Magnified axial view image and actual image - Defect in posterior aspect of humeral head.

Ultraosound - Humeral head defect with intact supraspinatus.

Case Discussion

MRI was performed later. Both pathology were present.

Operated after 1 month.
