Bankart and Hill-Sachs lesions

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

History of shoulder dislocation 1 day before. Reduction done. Referred for a plain radiograph and ultrasound.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

There are fractures of the anterior and inferior aspect of the glenoid rim with displaced fragments with defects at the posterolateral aspect of the humeral head.

ultrasound

Radiograph - True AP -  (Actual and magnified images) - Loss of density is noted at inferior aspect of glenoid rim with adjacent bone flake - Bankart lesion.

Radiograph - Magnified axial view image and actual image - Defect in posterior aspect of humeral head.

Ultrasound - Humeral head defect with intact supraspinatus.

x-ray

Post arthroscopic labral repair status - 1 day. 
Anchors in situ.

Case Discussion

MRI was performed later. Both pathology were present.

Operated after 1 month.
