Barium intravasation into the portal vein

There is density in the portal vein and throughout the liver in a portal venous distribution.
Multiple small bowel strictures. Dilated bowel and gas-fluid levels in the upper abdomen, compatible with obstruction.
Case Discussion
Although a barium study is being performed in this image, the barium intravasation did not occur during this procedure. There was a history of remote barium intravasation, attributed to a porto-enteric fistula.
