Irregular margin ulcerative soft tissue thickening with thickness up to 10-12 mm in middle to the temporal side of the left lower eyelid extended within related lateral canthus and upper lid margin, orbital septum, lateral rectus muscle tendon, lacrimal gland, and the eye sclera is seen. The eyes have no native lens. Cerebral ventricles are dilated.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates non-contrast MDCT features of the pathology-proved basal cell carcinoma of the eyelid. Basal cell carcinoma has high recurrence rate and surgical excision is the main treatment of the tumor.
