Presentation

History of trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

Comminuted intra-articular fracture of the right 2nd metacarpal base. The rest of the metacarpals appear normal.

No fracture in the phalanges.

Carpal bones are well aligned. Non-displaced fracture of the dorsal capitate.

Distal parts of the radius and ulna are unremarkable.

No dislocation.

The features are of a comminuted fracture in the right 2nd metacarpal base.
