Minimally displaced fracture of the base of the fifth metacarpal is present.

There is no dislocation or other fracture.

Case Discussion

The fifth metacarpal base fracture usually occurs as a consequence of notable axial loading force to a flexed hand as noted in clenched fist injuries.
