Basilar artery fenestration (normal variant).
Unremarkable brain MR angiography.
Case Discussion
An example of basilar artery fenestration, the commonest anatomical variant of the basilar artery and the most common intracranial arterial fenestration, with the prevalence of 2% on MR angiography. It is usually incidentally identified, not related to the patient's symptoms and typically occurs at the lower end of the basilar artery.
