Lateral skull x-ray showing unusual skull configuration, with a prominent bulge of the occipital bone, corresponding to bathrocephaly.
Case Discussion
Bathrocephaly or Bathrocephalic occiputs is a normal variation in skull shape, in which there is an outward convex bulge of mid-portion of the occipital bone 1. This is often noted to be an isolated finding, with no associated underlying cranial pathology.
