Left iliac fossa pain

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Elongated left lobe of the liver occupying most of the under-surface of the left hemidiaphragm and in close contact with the spleen, pathognomonic of 'beaver tail liver'.

Case Discussion

This is not an uncommon anatomical variation.
