The left masseter muscle and left pterygoid muscle are hypertrophoid and are asymmetrically-enlarged compared to the right side. No focal lesion or abscess is seen.
Hypertrophy of masseter muscle is a condition that mainly does not require surgical intervention. It is an example of a pseudomass, i.e. it mimics true pathology.
