Painless gradual distension of abdomen.

Patient Data

Age: 3 years
Gender: Male

Large well defined hypodense oval cystic lesion with a few internal septations occupied all the space of the abdominopelvic cavity displacing bowel loops superiorly and posteriorly

No solid component.

Benign peritoneal mesothelioma is an unusual benign tumor with an extremely low potential of malignant transformation that originated from the epithelial and mesenchymal cells of mesothelial tissue.
