Presentation

A single palpable mass in the thyroid.

Patient Data

Age: 40
Gender: Female
ultrasound

A predominantly cystic lesion, right lobe thyroid. The lesion contains multiple small cysts.

Case Discussion

These lesions are without exception benign. Follow up can be safely recommended in these cases. Lesions that show innumerable small cysts are benign lesions on FNA. Compare thoughtfully with case rID21887 and review the discussion in that case.
