Presentation

Shoulder pain with limited range of motion after trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
  • empty bicipital groove with a consequent retraction of distal portion of the long head of biceps brachii towards the elbow, where it is redundant, folded upon itself with associated high signal

  • abnormal intrasubstance increased fluid signal along with supraspinatus tendon footprint fibers related to tendinosis

  • type II acromion
