There is a large layered fluid collection in the anterior distal forearm. Within it, a retracted distal biceps tendon is seen curled up. The hematoma measures 3.6 x 6.7 cm transversely and 12 cm craniocaudal extent. The distal biceps tendon is curled up inside the collection and appears markedly thickened and fibrillated. It is retracted from its proximal radial insertion by approximately 13 cm. There is minimal soft tissue edema around the medial and posteromedial soft tissues.
